I can’t emphasize enough how different a wedding day looks and feels when you hire a planner, and this event speaks to that! Lindy and David had a colorful and vibrant wedding with details from their story inter-weaved in the most beautiful way. My advice: Do something DIFFERENT! Something that is just yours. A planner is really great about being able to take certain details from who you guys are, what you do, how you met, where you live, and seamlessly capsule them into your event. The result…a personal and curated event that your guests will never forget!

Hiring a planner can be an added expense you weren’t prepared for…however. You also have to remember that your planner has the access, knowledge, and contacts that you don’t. They have the behind the scenes info that can end up saving you a ton if you were to try and do them yourself.

Hiring a planner also allows you to focus on the FUN part of getting married. Not the communicating with vendors back and forth, coordinating timelines and seating charts…you can stay in your happy place sipping on mimosas and trying on dresses, while your dream wedding unfolds!!! The actual dream.

It is truly something I have to come to believe so strongly in, whether you’re having a small event or a 300 person 3 day long affair, HIRE A PLANNER. And a good one! I have many suggestions when it comes to this, so feel free to reach out if you’re at this step in the planning process.
